Product Overview
Perforated acoustic panels achieve higher sound absorption by allowing sound waves to enter the material from both the front surface and through the perforations. When mounted with an air cavity behind, the system approaches maximum absorption across speech frequencies (250-4000 Hz).
This makes perforated PET ideal for spaces where voice clarity is critical: conference rooms, call centers, classrooms, auditoriums, and broadcast studios.
Performance Advantages
- Higher NRC: 0.85-0.95 vs 0.4-0.7 for solid panels
- Optimized frequency response: Target specific problem frequencies
- Clean appearance: Architectural finish, not utilitarian foam
- Durable: Same PET toughness, no exposed soft material
Installation Requirements
Perforated panels perform best when mounted 25-50mm away from the wall or ceiling, creating an air cavity. We can provide mounting systems or work with your framing specification.
How to Specify
Tell us your room type, target NRC, and visual preference. We'll recommend perforation pattern, base thickness, and mounting depth to achieve your acoustic goals.
